We
try to show our visiting students different aspects of life in
Ankara
Students
attend a session of the Turkish Parliament and visit with parliament
deputy and administrator.

Students had a chance to ask questions and later were shown into
main hall where they were able to observe a session in process.
They attend a performance of the "Dance of the Millennium"
at the State Opera and Ballet.

Mevlana's Museum

Whirling
Dervishes
Each year students take the bus to Konya to see the annual
Whirling Dervishes Performance and visit Mevlana's Museum
Spring
Students visit a village in the Spring.
Here, students are being served village
bread by this village woman.
Students
also make independent travel on weekends.
In
the Spring or during the Summer Session, students are taken
on special tours of more Eastern parts of Turkey.

Students and their instructor are given a "lecture" by a
village woman on the care of handwoven rugs.
